'Result!' For Ingram on the Border Counties
Cheshire driver Jon Ingram took his maiden victory in the Pirelli MSA Gravel Rally Championship as he finished second behind event winner Barry Johnson on the Brick & Steel Border Counties Rally
In their Subaru Impreza WRC, Ingram, and co-driver Ian Allsop came home 5.6 seconds behind the Ford Focus WRC of Johnson on the Jedburgh-based event following a trouble-free run to claim maximum points in the ANCRO championship on the second round of the series.
Ingram and Allsop set the pace over stages five and six and heading into the final stage, just two seconds separated them from Johnson/Merry. "I'm pleased to win the MSA Gravel Rally Championship round but disappointed not to win the event outright," Ingram said. "It's great to get my first win in the series, it's one of the hardest one-day rallies I've ever done."
Round three of the Pirelli MSA Gravel Rally Championship will take place on Friday 9 - Saturday 10 May with the Douglas-based RBS International Manx Rally, Ingram Will be on Maximum Attack to keep the Lead in ANCRO.

Sunseeker Rally Report
At the start of SS2 on Friday night of Rallye Sunseeker Marshals told Jon and Ian to go, 30 seconds early!
They gave Ingram a 1 Minute time penalty although it was the fault of the un-organised marshals.
Ingram Started day 2 way down the leader board but after the first few stages Jon had climbed up into the top 10, Jon Pushed and pushed to finish 4th Overall 30 seconds behind the 06 focus of Stephen Moore.
Goodbye BC54 WRC
Jon has officially sold the car to a prodrive customer in corsica.
Jon & Ian will now be using another S11 Hired from Mckinstry Motorsport.
Punishing Bulldog
Ingram suffered 3 spins early in the day and lost up to 1 minute and a half due to stalls. later on Ingram suffered a puncture early on in the pantperthog stage loosing half a minute but still managed to finish the day in 3rd behind Burton & Perez.
First Overall on The Plains!
Ingram wins the Plains on the debut of the S11 WRC.
After a tentitive start and an Off on Pantperthog (SS2) Ingram set four fastest times in a row to Lead the Event from local multiple winning hero Andy Burton. The pace at the front was so hot that Ingram beat the stage Bogey on SS8 belying the trecherous coditions.

Ingram was fastest all day on every stage in the Focus to end up winning the Rally comfortably with a trouble-free run.
A good first win to the season despite the other problems.
Jim Cark International Rally
After the two Langton Special Stages, Ingram Was 8th Overall, just 15 seconds behind the leader.
Unluckily, On Saturday Morning Ingram Suffered a puncture and lost minutes but didnt get caught...
Ingram Was gaining positions all day, after Stage 10 Jon was 8th overall.
Going into the next stage Edrom, with slick tyres and pouring rain he slid off the road over a crest and spun at 60MPH just missing marshals, spectators, a police car and his biggest fan!
The car was beached and stuck.

RBSI Manx Rally
After a very steady start on the first 3 stages , Ingram upped his pace in the rain and fog to catch Steve Perez on Milerisk and then set fastest and second fastest time to end Leg 1. Ingram ended leg 1 in 3rd overall.
He then set fastest time on ss7 Mount Rule to Take the lead ahead of rally ledgend Kenny McKinstry, sadly his rally came to an abrupt end when Ingram slid off the road on the Curraghs stage damaging the radiator.
