Jon has to use an S9 Subaru on the event as the McKinstry S11 Jon usually competes in is Under-going repairs after Donnie O'Sullivan Crashed the car on the Killarney Rally in ireland.

After a short test on Friday, 5 Stages were taken place on friday night. Jon suffered major problems with the car losing about 1 minute.

Jon walked into the Service area on Saturday morning before leg 2 in his jeans and t-Shirt as he thought he wouldnt be able to compete but the McKinstry Motorsport crew has spent all night on the car and had manage to fix the Problem.

Jon got himself into gear and won the first stage of the day!

All day jon climbed up the leader board but on Stage 13 Ingram was 4th Overall.

Marcus Dodd Crashed out on the Last Stage giving Jon the 3rd place position.

Jon increases his lead of the championship going into round 4, the Severn Valley Rally.


'Result!' For Ingram on the Border Counties

Cheshire driver Jon Ingram took his maiden victory in the Pirelli MSA Gravel Rally Championship as he finished second behind event winner Barry Johnson on the Brick & Steel Border Counties Rally

In their Subaru Impreza WRC, Ingram, and co-driver Ian Allsop came home 5.6 seconds off 1st Overall on the Jedburgh-based event following a trouble-free run to claim maximum points in the ANCRO championship on the second round of the series.

Ingram and Allsop set the pace over stages five and six and heading into the final stage, just two seconds separated them from Johnson/Merry. "I'm pleased to win the MSA Gravel Rally Championship round but disappointed not to win the event outright," Ingram said. "It's great to get my first win in the series, it's one of the hardest one-day rallies I've ever done."

Round three of the Pirelli MSA Gravel Rally Championship will take place on Friday 9 - Saturday 10 May with the Douglas-based RBS International Manx Rally, Ingram Will be on Maximum Attack to keep the Lead in ANCRO.


Sunseeker Rally Report

At the start of SS2 on Friday night of Rallye Sunseeker Marshals told Jon and Ian to go, 30 seconds early!

They gave Ingram a 1 Minute time penalty although it was the fault of the un-organised marshals.

Ingram Started day 2 way down the leader board but after the first few stages Jon had climbed up into the top 10, Jon Pushed and pushed to finish 4th Overall 30 seconds behind the 06 focus of Stephen Moore.
